My name is Jane McCormick
and this picture was taken of me when I was being "kept" by a john who took me out for dinner at
the Copa Cabana Night Club in New York back in the 60's.
I look like I'm a happy 24 year old, but I was really in denial of being "kept"
by a 50 year old, married, mobster connected businessmen who "kept" me in glamorous penthouse.
For a time I was happy, because he'd gotten me away from
my "old man" who'd become an alcoholic, pedophile and drug addict who began to physically hit me and verbally belittle
me.
After a couple of years had past, I
attempted suicide.
Today, I want to help other
women in denial by starting a campaign for a One Million Woman March on Washington
to speak out about all women in abusive and violence relationships.
We women, are strong, and we need to stand up against mens abuse and violence to all women around the world,
for once and for all!
I need all women's organizations to
stand together as one and this web site is the world wide link to getting help.
